There’s an upside to all of these beautiful spring days spent indoors without a cloud – clear night skies! Why should you care, you say? Well, astronomers are inviting everyone to raise their eyes to the sky tonight as there promises to be quite a spectacle – a super pink moon! The phrase pink moon has an almost romantic connotation and comes from Northern Native Americans. They named the moon after a spring flower called Wild Ground Phlox, which is native to the eastern USA and one of the earliest widespread flowers of Spring.
As for astrologers, they remind us that it is going to be a full moon in Libra which allegedly empowers and tests you at the same time (no kidding, right?). Some astrologers claim that much collective healing is taking place right now and what you do for yourself, you do in support of healing for all.
Even if you don’t believe in astrology and although most likely the moon will not turn pink tonight, it is always a sight to see! Enjoy it!
