The first Bubble Bar has recently opened in Trieste in June 2020, in viale XX settembre 8, thanks to the idea of a Trieste family: Roberto, Miriam and Andrea. This inventive Trieste family wanted to create a new type of place, which would offer special alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks.

Bubble Tea is the most popular drink at the bar. It is a refreshing tea – based drink, which originated in Taiwan in the 1980s. At Trieste’s Bubble Bar you can choose between tea, milk, coffe, and some syrups. After that you can add bubbles that cointain different juices (coconut, mango, mint, strawsberry, etc.). There are 22 flavors to choose from.

Bubble drink can also be served with chewy pearls. The topping is sucked through an extra large straw, and the bubbles explode in your mouth. Every glass (from 2.50 to 3.50 €) is served with the bubbles, and there are no more than 80 calories per drink. Fructose is used to sweeten the tea. The menù will soon be updated with aperitifs, like spritz, but obviously with bubbles!

The Bubble Bar is open from Monday to Thursday 9-20, Friday, Saturday 9-22 and Sunday 10-20.
