Ryanair is to suspend all flights between Trieste and Valencia, reports Trieste newspaper Il Piccolo.
The unexpected stop to the service, which is the company’s only direct connection to have remained active to date during the coronavirus emergency, comes as the number of coronavirus cases in Spain begin to rise.
Lufthansa, which recently announced the resumption of the direct flights between Trieste and Munich, has also decided to suspend all flights until 26 October.
