FVG issued a new regional ordinance on 30 September 2020 that will be in effect from 1 October until 15 October 2020.
The new ordinance extends the safety measures that were previously in place. Moreover, the decree now limits the capacity for non-professional sporting events, cinemas, and other entertainment venues, and mandates the wear of masks for the duration of these events, including when entering or exiting the venue.
Masks and physical distances:
- The rule that individuals 6 years old and older must wear face coverings in indoor spaces accessible to the public and outdoors when it is not possible to continuously guarantee one meter of physical distance between non-cohabitants is still in place.
- Face coverings should be worn outside from 6 pm to 6 am daily.
- You must continue to wear face coverings in public transportation and in private automobiles if you cannot maintain one meter of physical distance with non-cohabitants.
- The shape of a mask should ensure proper coverage from the chin all the way to above the nose.
- One meter of physical distance should be measured from mouth to mouth of the individuals concerned.
- Spectators at non-professional sporting events (whether outdoors or indoors) as well as cinemas, and other entertainment venues (whether indoors or outdoors) must maintain a physical distance of one meter from other non-cohabitants and wear a mask for the duration of the event, including when entering and exiting the venue.
Health measures:
- Those with a respiratory infection and a fever of 37.5℃/99.5℉ must remain at their residence and contact their healthcare provider.
- It is still forbidden for persons accompanying patients to remain in the waiting rooms of the emergency and admission departments, unless otherwise specified by the healthcare personnel in charge.
Cinemas, entertainment venues, sports:
- Spectators are allowed in public cinemas, entertainment venues, outdoor and indoor sports events. There must be an open seat between fixed seats; where there are no fixed seats (such as when spectators stand or sit on terraces, steps, bleachers), spectators must maintain at least one (1) meter of physical distance between non-cohabitating persons or groups.
- Non-professional outdoor sporting events cannot exceed 1,000 spectators.
- No more than 200 spectators are permitted at non-professional, indoor sporting events.
- No more than 1,000 persons (including spectators, employees, etc.) can be present in a cinema or other entertainment venue at any one time, and persons in the venue must maintain a physical distance of at least one (1) meter from non-cohabitants, including while entering and exiting the facility.
- Parks, playgrounds, and public gardens remain open to minors and family members or members of the minors’ household (including those taking care of minors) to engage in play and recreational activities outdoors, but gatherings between non-cohabitants continue to be prohibited while at these public facilities.
- Individuals may continue to engage in general sports activities, which are carried out at gyms, swimming pools, public and private sports centers and clubs, but must wear a face covering over their nose or mouth or maintain a physical distance of one (1) meter from non-cohabitating individuals and ensure they do not engage in a gathering at any time.
- Groups may continue to engage in sports (including contact sports) or motor activities, but a two (2) meter physical distance must be maintained by non-cohabitants at all times when not required by the sports activity itself.
- The two meter physical distance must be maintained during periods of rest or intermissions.
- Water or drink containers should never be shared.
Religious activities:
- Places of worship remain open; however, each organization must ensure that a physical distance of 1 meter can be maintained by non-cohabitating individuals and groups.
Gatherings remain prohibited at all times.
