New “urgent” FVG decree, signed by Massimiliano Fedriga on 10/10, included the closure of bars and restaurants at 11 pm, with the consumption of food and drink while standing at such premises prohibited from 9 pm.
However, this urgent decree was valid only for the so-called movida weekend of Barcolana. Experts say, that these measures could become permanent with the new Italian decree out on Thursday, 15 October.
The decree is also expected to include restrictions aimed at curbing nightlife, reports ANSA.
Italy recently made wearing face masks mandatory in public at all times, including outdoors “when in proximity to others not from the same household”.
