Slovenia is to close borders with Italy, precisely Friuli-Venezia Giulia region, starting Monday, 26 October.
Italian citizens will only be allowed to transit the country within 12 hours time limit to reach other destinations.
The decision was made after the contagion numbers skyrocketed in the last few days, reports Italian news agency ANSA.
