The park of the Miramare Castle has reopened its doors after the initial closure, reports il Piccolo.

The Miramare Castle and its grounds were initially closed after the new decree issued on 6 November came in force, which ordered the closure of all museums.

However, the director of the Miramare Museum, Andreina Contessa’s, request to leave the Miramare park open has been accepted. Miramare is not only a museum, but a “green area” that “should be open to public.”

“The therapeutic value of a walk on Miramare’s grounds is evident” underlined Contessa.

Miramare Castle’s gardens are now open to public and free to visit daily from 8 am to 4 pm.
