The new national decree (DPCM) was signed on 12 November 2020 which will go into effect at midnight on 14 November 2020 .

The purpose of the new decree is to improve the situation regarding the spread of the virus. FVG remains a yellow zone and all rules for yellow regions remain in effect. Similar decrees were signed in the Veneto and Emilia Romagna regions.

The new rules listed in the DPCM are as follows.

Masks & face coverings

Face coverings must always be worn (not simply carried) when outside your home. The only exception remain children under six years old and individuals with medical conditions which prevent the wear of face coverings.

It is not mandatory to wear a mask if you are in the car alone or with cohabitants.

Physical activity outside

Physical activity (running, cycling, etc.) should be done in more isolated areas, such as parks or other green spaces, not crowded areas like streets or squares.

School

Elementary and middle schools will suspend singing, gym, and wind instrument lessons.

Wearing a mask is mandatory at all times (even while children are seated at their desks), except for children under 6 years of age.

Shops

Only one person per family can enter into a store.

Individuals over 65 are encouraged to only visit stores during the first two hours after opening.

Markets can open only with designated walking routes and designated exits and entrances.

On weekends and public holidays, medium and large stores will be closed. Exception: tobacconists, news agents, pharmacies and parapharmacies.

Restaurants and bars

After 3 pm, service at bars, ice cream parlors, pubs and restaurants can only be at a table.

Food and beverage consumption is limited to authorized areas of the bar/restaurant.

Bars and restaurants must close at 6 pm.

Movement

The national curfew remains in effect across Italy, which prohibits movement between the hours of 10 pm and 5 am.  During curfew hours, you may only leave your home for proven work needs, situations of necessity, and for health reasons. A self-certification form is required to justify travel between 10 pm to 5 am.

It remains strongly recommended that during the day you not to travel by public or private transport, except for work, study or health reasons.  However, no self-certification is required outside of the curfew hours (10 pm – 5 am).
