New anti-covid measures will be in place from 6 to 15 January, with Italy becoming the orange zone on the weekend of 9-10 January.
The new decree hasn’t been signed yet but the government has decided to extend the anti-covid measures in place until January 15th.
The nationwide measures, which come into effect today, January 6th, will see Italy become an “orange zone” on the weekend of 9-10 January and a yellow zone on the other days, reports ANSA.
Red zone: Wednesday, January 6th.
Yellow zone: Thursday – Friday, January 7th-8th.
Orange zone: Saturday – Sunday, January 9-10th.
From 11th of January on Italy will return to the three color, three-tier system- yellow, orange and red- based on the contagion numbers of each region, reports ANSA.
