The beauty of a snowed in lodge Gilberti (Rifugio Gilberti) in Sella Nevea became a perfect spot for professional skiers of the area.
Since all ski resorts have been closed as per latest national decree, the professional skiers of Friuli Venezia Giulia had to find a way to train on their own.
The lodge’s rooftop became the perfect spot to practice ski jumping after heavy snowfalls at the beginning of the year.
The picture that captures the enthusiasm of training in pandemic was taken by a local photographer Matteo Pittini. After the improvised training sessions, the skiers helped clean up the Gilberti Lodge from the excess of snow, reports Telefriuli.
