Triestini stepped out to enjoy a break in bora and finally blue skies as Friuli Venezia Giulia has officially entered the yellow zone this Monday, 1 February.

Friuli Venezia Giulia, along with many other Italian regions is re-classified as lower-risk yellow zone from 1 February. Which means bars, cafes and restaurants are allowed to offer table service daily until 6 pm.

The regional decree states that all drinks must be consumed at the table from 11 am on.

Many enjoyed a brisk walk around town this morning and a long-awaited nero in a glass.

It has rained for days so when Triestini get even a few hours of dry weather, they take advantage.

With mild temperatures, the outdoors has been a perfect place to take advantage of some fresh air.

After a couple of days of strong bora and rain, even a brief respite was welcomed by Triestini to come outdoors before the rain was predicted to return for the next several days.
