Museums and archaeological sites across Trieste continue to reopen after the lockdown which saw the city’s world-class cultural and heritage venues shut for more than three months.

The majority of Trieste’s museums are now open again, however visiting museums and heritage sites is no longer the same as before – from an organizational point of view – as advance online booking is now advised.

Visitors to Trieste’s magnificent museums are required to wear masks, practice social distancing and avail of the hand sanitizer stands placed throughout.

All Municipal Museums can be visited for free until March 31. You can find the list of museums and their opening hours here.
