Museums, palaces and archaeological sites in Trieste began reopening on 1 February, following a three-month closure, after the Friuli Venezia Giulia region was reclassified as a lower-risk yellow zone under Italy’s coronavirus restrictions.
Most Trieste’s museums will be open Monday-Friday only, with strict visiting protocols in place, from wearing masks to keeping social distance, and in most cases advance booking is required.
Magazzino delle Idee’s upbeat exhibit “Malkovich Malkovich Malkovich” has been reopened and extended for visits until 2 May 2021.
You will see “sixty-one color and black and white portraits of the American photographer Sandro Miller, inspired by the masters of photography and interpreted by John Malkovich” as written on the website.
Magazzino delle Idee is open from Tuesday to Friday, 10 am – 7 pm.
Reservation mandatory via email info@magazzinodelleidee.it or phone +39 0203774783
