Love in an Orange Zone

Standing
On the Molo Audace
at sunrise
from behind our masks
I look at deeply into you
and I see
in your eyes
my reflection;
here, now,
together,
one can only surmise
that I
am too, I suppose,
reflected like me in you
in your eyes.
May they never close.
