Today marks three years since Fedriga won the regional elections on April 30th, 2018.
Massimiliano Fedriga, 39, was elected to be the governor of Friuli Venezia Giulia, most north-eastern region of Italy with 57,09% of votes.
A grand victory for the center-right candidate Fedriga, followed by the centre-left candidate Sergio Bolzonello, who arrived second with almost 27% of votes.

Enfant prodige Fedriga joined Lega at 16 years old and the Italian Parliament at 27 years old. Born in Verona and raised in Trieste, Fedriga is known for his anti-immigrant and Eurosceptic views.
