Friuli Venezia Giulia’s president Massimiliano Fedriga appealed to the public in his Facebook address encouraging everyone to get vaccinated.
“We need to take advantage of the relatively calm summer season to protect as many people as we can to avoid another wave of virus come October.”
Fedriga confirmed region’s readiness to start vaccinating everyone without age limit from June on.
Fedriga also talked about launching awareness campaign for the 60+ age group as there are few people in that age bracket who signed to get the vaccine.
“If you want to get back to normalcy faster, you have to get vaccinated” added Fedriga.
