The region of Friuli Venezia Giulia becomes the white zone – the lowest-risk category under Italy’s color-coded system of restrictions – on Monday 31 May.
Friuli Venezia Giulia has registered fewer than 50 covid-19 cases per 100,000 inhabitants for three consecutive weeks and thus has been classified as a white zone.
The Trieste area is about 50% vaccinated, and although there is still plenty of sickness about, rates are falling, and things are starting to seem somewhat normal.
What are the new rules?

No curfew
Indoor dinning is now allowed
Drinking by the bar (“al banco”) is allowed, maintaining an interpersonal distance of one meter
