Open mic reading nights are back for the fourth year in a row this Thursday, 17 June, from 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm.
Literary open mic nights, known as “La Testa per Intrigo” offer a refreshing alternative to Trieste’s bar scene.
Initiated by two well-known local writers Corrado Premuda e Roberto Icolari three and a half years ago, the literary event became widely successful in the city of Trieste.
The rules are pretty easy: everyone is invited to read their masterpieces in front of a non-judgmental audience on Thursdays, from 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm at Bar Icolari off Piazza Unità. Performance time limit: 5 minutes.
This event provides writers and poets with a weekly opportunity to perform in front of an audience, in a non-competitive environment.
Conducted by Corrado Premuda, guests are invited to “share, listen, read, say”.
