Mask-wearing outdoors in Italy will no longer be required in almost all of the country from 28 June, the health minister Roberto Speranza announced last night.
Speranza tweeted that the mask requirement for outdoors will be gone in the lowest-risk ‘white zones’ under Italy’s color-coded system of restrictions.
Currently the entire country, with the exception of Valle D’Aosta region, is classified as a white zone.
Friuli Venezia Giulia has been classified as the white zone for the fourth week in a row.
