Magazzino delle Idee displays “In the Cities” by Gabriele Basilico until 5 September.

An unprecedented exhibition at the Magazzino dell Idee presents numerous photographs by Gabriele Basilico which tell the rich cultural and ethnic diversity of Italy’s origins as a nation.

The component of travel was a constant for Gabriele Basilico (1944-2013) who is considered one of the masters of contemporary photography. Starting in 1984, with the trip to Normandy for the Mission photographique de la DATAR (the biggest public commission in the history of photography), he began a long series of trips. This experience forever changed his way of seeing and thus the exhibition Nelle Città was born. It’s definitely a must-see.

Opening Hours: Tuesday- Sunday, 10 am- 7 pm
