From September 18 to October 10 Trieste’s Porto Vecchio is hosting an interactive exhibit dedicated to Nikola Tesla, the well-known Serbian inventor born in Smilijan in 1856.

Nikola Tesla revolutionized his century with over 300 patents issued by the World scientific community. Famous for having discovered the Rotating Magnetic Field produced by the alternating current, Tesla was one of the greatest minds of his time.

The exhibit, organized by Serbian Youth Cultural Association (ACGS) in collaboration with Comune di Trieste, and Nikola Tesla Museum in Belgrade, takes place in Porto Vecchio’s Magazzino 26 and traces Tesla’s life and discoveries.

During the tour, visitors can admire interactive machines inspired by his projects such as Tesla Coil, an electrical resonant transformer circuit generating sparks of electricity similar to lightning, and documents kept by the Tesla Museum in Belgrade.

With its designs, holograms, interactive machines, multimedia experience and sensors, the exhibit is a thrilling experience for all age groups.
