The yearly SHARPER event is back this Friday, 24 September at Immaginrio Scientifio. A night of online and in-presence activities, organized by Immaginario Scientifico with the help of the Department of Schools, Education, University and Research of Trieste and the Friuli Venezia Giulia region, promises to be full of surprises.

along with Trieste’s Musica G. Tartini Conservatory, to make this a diverse night to remember.

The organizers have selected the timely theme of challenges to Sustainable Development Goals. Exploring the role of researchers as mediators between communities and our current problems, this theme encompasses issues such as climate change, the gender gap, and the right to universal healthcare and education.

As in previous years, Trieste will work with 15 other Italian cities for the night: Ancona, Camerino, Cagliari, Catania, Genova, L’Aquila, Macerata, Nuoro, Palermo, Pavia, Perugia, Sassari, Terni, Torino e Trento.
