The annual statistical report on the quality of life in major Italian cities by the prestigious Sapienza University along with Italia Oggi has ranked Trieste as the 7th best city in Italy for the quality of life.
The 2021 Quality of Life ranking leaves little room for doubt – living in Trieste gives added value from many different points of view.
Trieste ranked first for the quality of education and second (after Milan) as the most wealthy and economically healthy city in Italy.
And Triestine commuters might be always ready to complain about the time they spend getting to work, but at 8th place they can count themselves luckier than workers in Milan (16), and Rome (18).
