Teatro Verdi is reopening its doors this weekend and delighting the public with Giacomo Rossini’s Barbiere di Siviglia.
Trieste’s Verdi returns with a production that includes a chorus, orchestra and soloists. On offer is Rossini’s Il Barbiere di Siviglia, tweaked to reflect the life today.
This is the 42 production of Barbiere di Siviglia at Verdi theater, with the first production staged in 1818.
The opening night on Friday at 8.30 pm is the first opera this December to be played in the “yellow zone”. The audience is required to show Green pass and wear a FFp2 mask.
Verdi’s box office is open 9 am to 4 pm, Tuesday – Saturday.
