Will you understand everything? We doubt it! Will you laugh? We hope so! Will you be entertained? We guarantee it!

The world famous, at least in our minds, Pupkin Kabarett show returned to the stage last night at Teatro Miela and will have another show tonight, Monday the 31st beginning precisely at 20.23

This one of a kind comedy show, performed mostly in Triestin/Italian with a touch of English and whatever other mix of languages we make up as the show goes on, has been a hit with the local Triestini since it’s opening 25 years ago.

The original creators, Alessandro Mizzi, Laura Bussani, and Stefano Dongetti, are still performing and shaping the show but now under the supervision and direction of Paolo Rossi, who will also be returning to the stage soon. The spectacle jokes about politics, foreign affairs, the past, daily life, and of course coffee.. all of the most important topics here in Trieste!

Along with the beloved characters that each performer presents throughout the evening, live music and special surprise guests are always an integral part of each performance.

To be honest, if you want to learn Italian, I’m not sure the Pupkin Kabarett can help you, but if you want to learn how to really live like the Triestini do, then buy your season tickets today!

From the 7th of February the show will run every other Monday at precisely 20.23

You can buy your tickets here.
