Trieste Donates Medicine, Food, Clothes to Ukraine: Ways to Help Out

The Ukrainian church in Trieste is organizing a collection of medicine, food and clothes to send to Ukraine in response to the humanitarian crisis caused by the Russian invasion.

Here are some of the humanitarian groups with experience in Refugee Relief at work you can support:  

Seminary – via Besenghi 16 – Trieste – Ukrainian Church from 18:00 to 19:30 
Collection of emergency goods to be sent directly to the Ukraine.

Caritas di Trieste is now asking churches and families for their availability to host refugees. To receive information or give your availability, write to ucraina@caritastrieste.it, or call this toll free number 800.629.679

Currently Caritas Trieste is NOT collecting food, clothes, medicine because it is not possible to guarantee the arrival at the destinations due to Ukrainian border problems.  

Centro Balducci ONLUS in Udine began a Campaign of solidarity called “Emergenza Ucraina” .You can make a bank transfer in the name of the Centro Balducci at Banca TER Credito Cooperativo FVG Soc. Coop. – IBAN: IT59C0863164121000001017788 .  In the description write “Emergenza Ucraina”and include your Fiscal Code.

Expats in Trieste multicultural community will be collecting water bottles, snacks, toys and other things for transiting refugees through Trieste (and take the goods up to Fernetti border on Monday (07/03 afternoon). Please, send email expatslivingintrieste@gmail.com

Warm clothes for adults and children
First Aid – bandages, band aides, disinfectants, hemostatic ties, pain killers (without prescription), ready made first aide kits.
