Paolo Giordano, an Italian writer and physicist who conquered the reading world ten years ago with his first novel, The Solitude of Prime Numbers, presents Scienza e Virogola in collaboration with SISSA school.
Scienza e Virgola festival celebrates the true essence of Triestine world and offers public myriad of free events to choose from.
It’s true that Trieste is a city of science so it’s no surprise that the many local associations – Trieste Book Fest, Trieste Film Festival and others- are taking part in the Science & Media Festival which will be taking over Trieste from Tuesday, 10 May to Sunday, 15 May.
“There’s nothing neutral about science,” says Paolo Giordano pointing out to the Scienza e Virgola booklet with the colors of the Ukraine. “Science and Media festival this year is all about truth. There’s going to be a lot of true talk about climate change, diversity, politics, narcissism and the search of others. People are not here to only present their books but to help everyone understand what is going on around them.”
From book presentations, to film and documentaries showings to coffee tastings – this festival has it all. For more information, please visit the festival’s website.
