Il Rossetti theater presented its 2022-2023 season with a slate of dozens of shows, featuring hit Broadway musicals, acclaimed plays, dance performances and summer 2022 at the Miramare Castle.

In a very Rossetti manner, the press conference this morning was open to Triestine public, as opposed to press only.

“We want this theater to feel like the theater of people,” said Il Rossetti’s president, Francesco Granbassi. “We are a lucky theater as we can count on our audience as the major income resources. We want to thank our public without which we wouldn’t be able to do what we love doing.”

“I am elated to announce what is perhaps one of our most important theater seasons ever at the Il Rossetti theater as we return with such a full, exciting program of musicals and plays. The anticipation of being able to see acclaimed productions again—and be in the theater together—is palpable,” said Paolo Valerio, il Rossetti’s artistic director since 2020.

The new season officially begins with “The Merchant of Venice” by William Shakespeare, featuring highly praised Italian actor, Franco Branciaroli, directed by Paolo Valerio. It will go on Il Rossetti’s stage 11-16 October, 2022.

“This upcoming season is filled with incredible shows and works from brilliant artists, offering something for everyone” added artistic director Paolo Valerio reminding everyone to book their seats for the Il Rossetti’s summer at Miramare. Valerio finished the conference by saying that “Rossetti theater is a garden. Our will is the gardener. I think once we want to get back to the places of art, we can reignite the stars.”
