Intrieste magazine joins Trieste community in grieving the loss of Il Piccolo’s director, Omar Monestier.

Omar Monestier, 57, passed away last night in his home in the province of Udine. Monestier was an acclaimed journalist, director of Il Piccolo and Messaggero Veneto, dedicated to connecting with audiences and telling profound stories. Far-sighted and professional, he was always dressed to the nines and open to new ideas. Monestier was an incredible asset for the city of Trieste.
