Exhibition “ARS BOTANICA. PAPER GARDENS” was presented this morning at the Miramare Castle by its director, Andreina Contessa.
The exhibit, which opens to public on Thursday, 15 September, explores the many treasures of the Miramare library, in particular books on botany, flowers, plants, and gardens.
The exhibit displays a selection of more than one hundred books on botany and gardens, a series of objects never seen before from the museum collection, a valuable Flemish painting from the Royal Museums of Turin, and some historical artifacts from the Trieste Civic Museums.
The exhibit will stay open until June, 2023.
