Comune di Trieste is bringing history to the streets of our town with Legio Mania this Friday, Saturday and Sunday with multitude of events to choose from.
Ancient Rome reenactment will take over our city’s streets 23-25 September with Roman Legionnaires walking down the main piazzas of Trieste as well as workshops and exhibitions at Museo Winckelmann.
“I am very excited to present this event, which breaks the ice for all the other intiatives that come afterwards. Culture is and will be at the center of our city’s attention” said councilor for tourism and culture Giorgio Rossi.
“We hope the weather’s on our side. It is important to remember that although the events will be held outside, Winckelmann is a museum and thus requires a Green Pass to enter.”
