The artworks are dedicated to war, wealth and poverty, animals, globalization, consumerism, politics, power, ecology. All of them are communicating Banksy’s original and non-conformist language addressed to the public in a direct and impactful way.
“Many thanks to Friuli Venezia Giulia region and the city of Trieste. It’s a pleasure for me to work here, in this spectacular city. It needs to become better known,” explained the exhibition curator, Gianni Mercurio who underlined that a similar Banksy exhibit in Milan was “an enormous success.” Banksy “is a great communicator. Every piece of his holds a message especially for the younger generations.”

“We decided – successfully- to promote our region almost 4 years ago. Friuli Venezia-Giulia is becoming one of the most researched regions in Italy. The city of Trieste has enormous potential and we’re just at the beginning,” added Sergio Bini.
“It’s a grand challenge and a great opportunity for the city of Trieste. It’s not an easy job to be able to make an exhibition like this. I am convinced that many will visit this exhibition,” confirmed the president of FVG, Massimiliano Fedriga.
The exhibition will open on November 25th at Salone degli Incanti in Trieste, Monday-Thursday 9 am – 8 pm; Friday and Sunday 9 am – 9 pm, Saturday 9 am – 10 pm.
