“Autumn in Opicina 2022” manifestation takes over the city this weekend with various events to choose from.
As the air gets a slight chill, Opicina looks forward to incorporating fresh produce and locally crafted products into the many festivities that the fall season offers this weekend.
What’s on offer?
You will find many kiosks full of local specialties curated by Associazione ASD SK Brdi every day until 10 pm in the piazza right to the Obelisk (in Opicina).
At the end of the Napoleonica trail you will find another kiosk with wine and typical foods curated by Associazione Sportiva Mladina.
Pastry shop Saint Honoré will have “Opicina’s Tram” and “Trieste’s Sails” chocolate boxes available.
Not to mention the art exhibit at Atelier del Pittore Fulvio Cazzador and historical car show right by the Obelisk.
Back in Trieste, Kleine Berlin in via Fabio Severo will offer free guided tours at 5 pm, 6.30 pm and 8 pm.
Free guided tours will also be available at Opicina’s bunker from 9 am to 4 pm on Saturday, 8 October.
“Autumn in Opicina” gives locals a joyful excuse to start connecting food and community in October.
