Regatta Barcolana takes place this Sunday, 9 October, at 10.30 am in Trieste with 1700 boats on the starting line.

The 54th edition of the Barcolana is “the comeback” said Mitja Gialuz, the heart and mind behind the regatta.

The forecast for this Sunday morning is bora winds and blue skies. “Perfect race conditions”, a participant told us.

“We are excited to have Amerigo Vespucci ship to give the go ahead of the regatta,” Gialuz told us.

The best places to watch the regatta this Sunday are the Napoleonica trail, the rooftop of Museo Revoltella and Molo Audace. The coziest way to follow regatta will probably be in the comfort of your home via Rai Sport.
