Councilor Elisa Lodi announced earlier this week that the famous beach establishment Pedocin, also known as Bagno La Lanterna, will remain open for visitors on November and December Sundays.
The beach will be open for lounging around, but not for swimming.
“It’s great news- underlined councilor Lodi – since Pedocin is one of those historically important and unique to Trieste places loved by many. There will always be staff present, but not the lifeguards – hence no swimming will be allowed during the winter season.”
Pedocin will remain open free of charge the following Sundays: 13 and 27 November as well as 11 and 18 December.
