Christmas in Italy is rich in traditions and offers a feast for the senses, and Christmas markets are a big part of it. With this in mind, a group of female expats decided to organize their very own Christmas market this Thursday, 8 December in Basiliano, Udine.

Charlotte, Roisin and Diana from Argentina, Ireland and Scotland are part of a group of international artists who live in Udine that have organized a Christmas market in Basiliano this Thursday, 8 December, from 1.30 pm to 6 pm.

“It will be the first Christmas market ever held in Basiliano and, of course, will have an international and multi-artistic dimension,” the artists told us. “In our group there are people who come from all over the world (Argentina, Ireland, Scotland etc.) and who deal with various arts – stained glass, graphic design, jewellery and personal objects, and more. We will be happy to see everyone who will visit us and discover why international artists like us have decided to come and live and work in Friuli.”
