A bustling Italian marketplace featuring quality Italian food from Italy’s many regions, alongside artisanal creations from local producers, Eataly Trieste celebrated five years with a birthday bash on Tuesday, 17 January offering its customers a slice of cake and a glass of prosecco followed by greetings from the team.
“Together with Oscar Farinetti we transformed this wonderful space 6 years ago from wines warehouse into what it is today – pride for the whole city, a place that celebrates the best of Italian gastronomy,” remembered the mastermind behind Eataly Trieste, Antonio De Paolo. “Here you can eat, shop and learn. Our staff is magnificent and will help you enjoy this place to the most.”
Eataly Trieste, a vibrant marketplace featuring an array of cafes overlooking the harbor, counters, restaurants, and a cooking school celebrates five years this January with various promotions for the customers to choose from.
On Tuesday, 17 January, the day Eataly Trieste opened its doors exactly five years ago, the store held a celebration, offering a slice of birthday cake and a glass of bubbly on the house to all customers of the store.
“We are celebrating six years of Eataly Trieste,” said Francesca Artiglia, the marketing manager of Eataly Trieste. “Eataly is a great place to socialize and to connect to people of Trieste. Eataly is the synomym of quality, both for life and food. We celebrated this anniversary with our clients today and we hope to see many of you here in the days to come!”

For half a decade, Eataly’s chefs have created delicious regional Italian dishes at different counters and restaurants, and, true to the “City of Winds,” Eataly hasn’t slowed down.
“I’ve been working here form the beginning and saw work in progress. We are still here sice years later and its wonderful,” added the head baker, Chiara Gulin.
“Today is a very special day for us. I’ve been with Eataly Trieste since the very first day it opened its doors in 2017 and I am happy and proud to still be here today,” said the head chef Claudio Palumbo. “Eataly Trieste continues to offer high quality food, connected to the territory, with best ingredients to choose from. I love this place and hope to be able to blow the candles on the next year’s cake.”
