Joan Miró’s exhibition at the Revoltella Museum is worth a few hours-long distraction from the busy cultural life of Trieste.
Mirò was one of the most renowned of modern European painters, with a career that ran from the early 20th century all the way up to the time of Andy Warhol.
“This exhibition, after the impressionists and I Macchiaioli puts Trieste at the center of attention once again,” said the town’s councilor for culture and tourism, Giorgio Rossi. “We hope many will appreciate it.”
Museum Revoltella’s exhibition, open to public from Saturday 29 April, is rich in etchings, watercolors and paintings and will leave you feeling elated.
