The rector of the University of Trieste, Roberto Lenarda inaugurated the new hub for UNITS’s nursing degree courses in Porto Vecchio in the presence of Trieste’s mayor, Roberto Dipiazza, and other local authorities, this Tuesday morning, 2 May.
From today, 2 May 2023, the UniTS Nursing Degree Course have officially moved to the new location at the former Hydrodynamic Plant of the Porto Vecchio in Trieste.
Starting from this date, 3rd year students will attend lessons at the former vaccination hub. Starting from October 2023 the entire three-year degree course will take place here.
The hydrodynamic plant will also host laboratories and workshops to support professional training activities. The location of the hydrodynamic plant near the railway station will make it easier for the commuting students from outside Trieste to reach classes.
This will also be the first educational building located in Porto Vecchio, but not the last one, the authorities told us.
