Scienza e Virgola festival celebrates the true essence of Triestine world and offers public myriad of free events to choose from.
It’s true that Trieste is a city of science so it’s no surprise that the many local associations – Trieste Book Fest, Trieste Film Festival and others- are taking part in the Science & Media Festival which will be taking over Trieste from Thursday, 4 May to Tuesday, 9 May.
Scienza e Virgola begins today, May 4th, with two special early events:
Margherita – La Voce delle Stelle at Teatro Miela Bonawentura
A special screening of the documentary on the life of Margherita Hack. With Associazione Casa del Cinema di Trieste
Antigone – Ovvero l’ineluttabilità della legge di Darwin at Sala Bergamas di Gradisca d’Isonzo – a.ArtistiAssociati
A dramatic reading in one act inspired by the greek tragedy of the same name.
Produced by Teatro Miela Bonawentura in collaborazione con Artisti Associati Gorizia and funding by Regione Friuli Venezia Giulia.
