Friuli Venezia Giulia’s “Open Cellars” extravaganza is back this weekend making it a perfect time to explore our region and all of its treasures.
To celebrate the thirtieth birthday edition, an extra day is given on the calendar, adding Monday – May 29th – to the usual Saturday and Sunday days, i.e. May 27th and 28th. And this also with the thought of the many Austrian tourists who, as usual, will spend the Pentecost festivity in our region.
An event that from 27 to 29 May will involve 78 wineries ready to welcome enthusiasts from all parts of Italy and abroad with guided tours, tastings, sensory workshops, concerts and many other initiatives.
Among the companies participating in the initiative, 18 are located in the province of Gorizia (in the Collio as well as in the Carso), one in the Trieste area, 50 in the province of Udine and 9 in that of Pordenone. And to discover them all, together with the calendar of events, it is possible to connect to the Movimento Turismo del Vino website (www.mtvfriulivg.it), where reservations must also be made.
