The summer festival – presented by the city’s Rossetti theater – takes place against the backdrop of the Miramare Castle over several evenings from 7 July until 6 August.
The Rossetti at Miramare will open with “Concerto Al Tramonto” on 7 July at 9.30 pm.
“It will be a sight to see,” said Il Rossetti’s director, Francesco Granbassi.
“Green Shakespeare: Trees, Storms, Flowers” will take over the castle from 25 July to 6 August. Paolo Valerio’s dedication to Shakespeare is a moveable feast which takes the spectators on an emotional journey through the English troubadour’s masterpieces all the while enjoying the breathtaking beauty of Miramare Castle and its grounds.
This year’s novelty is the big collaboration with Teatro Verdi for the “Concerto All’Alba” (concert at dawn) on 8 July at 5.42 am. “It will be a magnificent spectacle,” said Paolo Rodda, the artistic director of the Verdi theater.
