Downtown Trieste, mainly the streets via delle Mura, via Sporcavilla, and via di Pozzo di Crosada are to get a facelift in the months to come.
It’s been a long time coming: the Cittavecchia neighborhood is getting a new 4-star hotel which is being designed by a Monfalcone architect, Francesco Morena.
“It is first necessary to make sure that there are no archeological remains left before we can proceed, ” said Morena. “We hope to be able to begin the works as soon as possible. It was a long time coming, this area needs to get a facelift.”
