Croatia was shaken near Rijeka, Primorsko-Goranska Županija, by an earthquake of magnitude 4.3 around 7.34 pm this Saturday, 29 July, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported.
The earthquake occurred in the late afternoon of Saturday 29 July 2023, at 19:34, between Slovenia and Croatia. According to data from the National Institute of Physics and Volcanology (Ingv), the earthquake was magnitude 4.3.
The epicenter of the earthquake was located in Croatia, near the border with Slovenia, about 20 kilometers north of Rijeka; the earthquake occurred at a depth of 5 km.
