Ice Age lovers rejoice as Trieste is preparing to welcome the new “Ice Age” exhibition, scheduled from 28 August to 9 September.
An exhibition curated by Zoic srl of Trieste in collaboration with the Municipality and the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, will be set up in the Sala delle Colonne, with free admission and entry from Riva Mandracchio.
The exhibition was presented at a press conference Tuesday morning in the presence of the deputy mayor Serena Tonel, Nicola Bressi curator of the Museum of Natural History (the interviewee), Flavio Bacchia for Zoic, Carlo Fonda, Enrique Canessa for Ictp, by Cristiano Stea director of the Sc Iss for Cognitive and Intellectual Disabilities of the Adult of Asugi.
During the annual Trieste Maker Faire on 2 and 3 September, the mammoth skeleton will be exhibited directly in Piazza Unità. Public will be able to admire the mammoth in its outdoor location and then continue the visit in Sala Colonne for the others exhibits (open during the entire weekend).
On Saturday 2 September from 2.15pm to 2.45pm a talk dedicated to the exhibition and its protagonists will be held during the Maker Faire event.

Guided tours for groups by reservation via email at stoneage@zoic.it. Educational workshops organized by the Natural History Museum from 10 am to 12 pm.
