39th Edition Of Trieste Theater In Triestine Dialect

Theater season in Trieste dialect arrives for 39th time as a reminder of the importance of promoting culture, history, and traditions of our city.

Organized and promoted by “L’ARMONIA APS”, association of Trieste Theater companies, it will be a season to remember. The president of the company, Paolo Dalfovo, says “ An important commitment of ARMONIA APS: to promote Trieste culture and dialect, organizing an event such as the Theater Season in Trieste Dialect”, which hosts more than 150 people.

The organization this year has decided to offer about six “non subscription” shows and some novelties to attract more citizens. The project is supported with the confidence and participation of Trieste artists, who will perform plays in Triestino.

2023-2024 billboard will offer nine subscription-productions between comedy, classics, and contemporary authors. With the usual purpose of spreading knowledge, productions will be based on the history and culture of the city, presented in triestine dialect.

Season will take off on Sunday 24th September, at 18:00, with the musical “TE VOIO BIEN TRIESTE ” of Giuliano Zannier, first event, and therefore, free entry until seats last. Between the effort of the region Friuli Venezia Giulia, the municipality, and the Association of theaters this initiative has been carried out with success the last years.

The new season will start on October 21th and will end in mid April at the Theater “Silvio Pellico2, via Ananian. Tickets can be bought through the office in Gallery Rossoni or online on Ticket Point.
