The team was presented with a great recognition in the A2 Series, highlighting its commitment during the summer season.

The first goal is to maintain the position in the A2 series, and perhaps, even jump to the next category. There are many young people who are watching the games and have a dream like these girls, and they are definitely an example to follow.

“We decided to take the opportunity to continue our project in the A2 series above all to remove that bitter feeling in the mouth at the end of the season that left us last championship”, affirmed Davide Fornaraso, President of Futurosa. He talked about learning from past mistakes, emphasizing on the team’s strength.

Councilor Giorgio Rossi presented a plaque with the dedication “To the S.S.D Futurosa #FornaBasketTrieste for the deserved confirmation in the A2 series and for the great work carried out both, in the youth sector with the girls from Trieste, and in the social sector with the schools and local associations with esteem and gratitude. The councilor for the sport, Giorgio Rossi, and the major, Roberto DiPiazza”.

This year the roster will have to face some changes, losing some historic characters, but adding important gems to the team. The Futurosa’s Sports Director, Paolo Ravalico, believes there’s a big room for growth. The new arrivals will be well supported with the guarantee of young players experienced at European level. The responsibility also includes the choice of having a very young captain, Sofia Carini, “born and raised in Futurosa”, an interesting element to help achieve the objectives.

The next week will be launched the season ticket campaign. This is an important season, competitive and with a lot of expectations in it. The company of Futurosa hopes to receive the support of the city and the public.
