Health authorities in Trieste report another locally acquired dengue fever case in Grignano neighborhood bringing the case count to 301 confirmed cases this year across Italy.

Trieste health authorities implemented vector control measures in Grignano neighborhood with disinfection underway tonight, 23 October, from 8.30 pm and urged the public to take mosquito bite prevention measures. All residents living within 200 meters of Riva Massimiliano e Carlotta are to remain at home tonight from 7 pm on, no cars will be allowed to transit in the area.
