The citrus plantation in Miramare – six varieties of rare and ancient plants – is a modern experiment that was born to realize an ancient dream, that of Archduke Maximilian of Habsburg, in love like many nobles of contemporary European courts with these botanical essences that generate fragrant and beautiful fruits.

The recipe for “Amare” was created by two Michelin star chefs, Matteo Metullio and Davide De Pra, who expertly measured the quantity of each natural ingredient: the fragrant peels, sugar and water. Production was entrusted to an agricultural company in Sauris. The Miramare jams, enclosed in their elegant packaging, were presented by the director of the Museum Andreina Contessa, described by the chefs Metullio and De Pra and the producer Albert Domini.
