Hundreds came down to Molo Audace this Sunday afternoon to say a prayer for peace. 15 minutes of silence facing the sea united the many confessions of the city of Trieste with one hope – peace.

Symbolically facing the Middle East at exactly midday, the bishop of Trieste, Enrico Trevisi, was united by Eliahu Alexandre Meloni, Chief Rabbi of Trieste, Omar Akram, President of the Islamic Community of Trieste, and other Christian churches and religious denominations of the city. United with them were hundreds of Trieste locals who came to say a prayer for peace on this sunny Sunday afternoon.
